There are all kinds of praises to report in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Here is one.
The President, Vice President, the Task Force, and many others are working hard to provide solutions to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Recently, the Navy sent the USNS Comfort, which arrived in New York Harbor three weeks ahead of schedule. Staff aboard the ship will begin treating patients immediately to help relieve the city’s hospital capacity.
President Trump visited Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia over the weekend, seeing off the hospital ship as it embarked for New York City.
“I’m here to express my profound gratitude to the dedicated service members who will soon be on the frontlines of this fight,” he said.
“This great ship behind me is a 70,000-ton message of hope and solidarity to the incredible people of New York—a place I know very well, a place I love. We’re here for you, we’re fighting for you, and we are with you all the way, and we always will be.”
Samaritan’s Purse is also on the scene with mobile hospital units in NYC. Private sector companies have stepped up to provide medicines, masks, other medical supplies and even created new technology to help. These are praises to be thankful for as well!
Share the praises you have experienced or heard of—let’s thank God together!
